What an ecommerce redesign should fix
Most store redesigns go wrong in one of two ways: they look new but sell no better, or they break URLs and lose search traffic. A good ecommerce redesign starts from where shoppers drop off today, then fixes speed, product pages, navigation and checkout, while protecting products, reviews, customers and SEO.
- A review of your current store: speed, mobile layout, navigation and checkout steps
- Product page redesign with clear photos, prices, shipping and returns information
- Collection and category pages that are easier to browse and filter
- Faster loading through image handling and fewer heavy apps or plugins
- Mobile-first layouts, since most shoppers browse on a phone
- Products, customers, orders and reviews kept in place
- 301 redirects for every changed URL, plus schema for products and reviews
- Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Webflow stores, or a move to a better platform
Common problems and how they get fixed
These are the issues clients most often bring to this kind of project, and the practical fix for each.
- Shoppers browse but do not buy. Product pages that answer price, shipping, returns and sizing before the visitor has to look for them.
- The store is slow on mobile. Lighter themes, compressed images and fewer apps, checked against Core Web Vitals.
- A redesign could wipe out your Google traffic. A full URL map and 301 redirects, with Search Console checked after launch.
How much does an ecommerce redesign cost?
Ecommerce redesigns are quoted after a free review of your store, because the work depends on the number of templates, products, apps and integrations. Most store redesigns fall within the $500 to $2,500 custom range. A new Shopify store setup starts at $349.
Every quote is fixed before work starts. Hosting is paid to the platform in your own name, so you always own the site and the domain. A care plan for updates, backups and small edits is $99 a month if you want it.

How much does an ecommerce website redesign cost?
With Abdullah Bin Tahir, ecommerce redesigns are quoted after a free store review and most fall within the $500 to $2,500 custom range. The price is fixed before work starts.
Will I lose my SEO rankings if I redesign my store?
Not if it is done carefully. Every changed URL gets a 301 redirect, titles and product content are kept, and Search Console is checked after launch.
Will my products, customers and orders be kept?
Yes. A redesign changes the design and templates, not your store data. Migrations to a new platform include moving products, customers and order history where the platform allows.
Which platforms do you redesign?
Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Webflow stores. If your current platform is holding you back, I can recommend and handle a move.
How long does an ecommerce redesign take?
Most store redesigns take two to four weeks, depending on the number of templates and integrations.
Can you redesign just the product pages?
Yes. Smaller projects such as product page or checkout improvements are quoted on their own.
